Vietnamese people wake up early, so businesses and enterprises also open early. Government offices operate from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Most businesses are open from Monday to Saturday morning, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Banks are open from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Lunchtime is usually from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Many shops, businesses, and all government offices are closed during lunchtime. Shops typically open from around 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, with some staying open even later.
