Hoi An Countryside Tour

AM: Our guide welcomes you at the hotel in Hoi An in the early morning, and then you will board a boat to learn fishing with instructions from the local people. You will practice catching fish and casting the net into the river. Continue to visit the green Bay Mau water coconut forest; here, you will have the chance to row a basket boat, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, admire the revolutionary base of Hoi An, and use fishing tools to catch field crabs. You will then be transferred to Tra Que Vegetable Village, riding bicycles through peaceful villages and enjoying the beauty of the countryside surrounding Hoi An. You will be welcomed with local tea named “E” water. Next, you will join a cooking class with a local family. Under their instruction, you will prepare ingredients and cook Hoi An specialty foods. Have lunch with the family.

PM: After lunch, you will learn about farming. Dress in farming clothes and take a short walk to visit the garden where local farmers work using traditional methods without electrical machines. Under the instruction of a household member, you will learn how to prepare and cultivate the land, fertilize it with green manure before planting vegetables, and water the vegetables you have just planted. Return to the house to relax by soaking your feet in Vietnamese herbs, a traditional way to refresh after working in the garden. Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Hoi An.
